Learning Support Assistants (LSA) - Mendip Green Primary School
We have 3 x Learning Support Assistant vacancies which are all offered working term-time including 5 inset days with an excellent benefits package and will be fixed term from 1 October 2022 until 31 August 2023.
28 hours and 45 minutes per week
Actual Salary E3/4 (dependent on qualifications and experience): £13,294.05 - £14,970.96
10 hours and 45 minutes per week
Actual Salary E3/4 (dependent on qualifications and experience): £4,970.82 – £5,597.83
16 hours and 40 minutes per week
Actual salary E3/4 (dependent on qualifications and experience): £7,708.24 - £8,680.55
Being suitably qualified and with previous experience of working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, you will also be patient, caring and enthusiastic and confident in dealing one to one with children who have varying SEND needs. Essential previous experience of 1:1 work, LSA or TA roles in a Primary setting is required.
We would ideally like for you to have previous experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, experience working with children who require a Total Communication Approach – knowledge of how to support communication with strategies such as PECS (Picture Exchange Systems) and Makaton. If you have experience implementing behaviour management programmes and delivering the TEACCH approach this is the job for you.
