Milton Park and Oldmixon: committed to the climate and shining brightly

A solar certificate is more than something nice to hang on the wall.

It's proof of a journey. One that starts with an idea, works through funding and paperwork, and ends with panels quietly generating clean power over a school roof for the coming years.

As a new school year gets underway, we’re celebrating Milton Park Primary School and their journey towards a greener future.

Milton Park is now generating 31 kWp of clean solar power from 68 panels helping the school reduce its carbon footprint while creating a fantastic real-world opportunity for pupils to learn about renewable energy and sustainability.

We're also celebrating that journey with Oldmixon Primary School, following the completion of their solar installation.

Here's the story in numbers:

🌱 149 tonnes of CO₂ emissions saved (over 25 years)
