Children starting school September 2021
Children born between 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017 can start school in Reception Year in September 2021.
The deadline for the submission of applications to North Somerset School Admissions is 11:59pm Friday 15 January 2021. You can apply online at http://www.n-somerset.gov.uk/admissions , download an application form or contact the school office if you need assistance with obtaining an application form.
Bournville, Oldmixon and Windwhistle schools' admission arrangements have a supplementary information form (SIF) to be completed and submitted with your application for school (this includes online and paper applications). The SIF form should be completed and sent directly to the school before the 15 January 2021 deadline.

Children currently in Year 6 transfer to a Secondary School in September 2021.
The deadline for the submission of applications to North Somerset School Admissions has now passed, however you can still make a late application. You will need to make a paper application by either downloading an application form or contact the school office if you need assistance with obtaining an application form.
If you are refused a place at your preferred school the letter from North Somerset will explain why, and you will be given the right to appeal. You should read the North Somerset appeals guidance

From 1 January 2021, in line with guidance from HM Government, the admission arrangements have been amended to remove the criteria under ‘Who Can apply’ section “they are from the European Economic Area (EEA)”.
