The ELAN central team is split across two working sites. Business, finance and HR are on one site and the education and estates team are at another. This is due to our growth and subsequent space required - we are still very much one team that comes together regularly for meetings both virtually and in person.

Both sites have lovely bright and modern facilities which make working that much more enjoyable.

Working in the central team is busy, varied and can be challenging at times. We support eight primary schools as well the main business functions of an academy trust. No two days are ever the same. It’s a team where everyone’s input is important and everyone’s ideas count. Some of our best work comes from having a varied group of individuals around the same table, sharing thoughts and experience.

Our doors are always open; to over 600 staff. We love getting visitors from our schools come to see us (even better when they bring cake), or going out to work within the schools in person when we can.

We genuinely do all pull together when we need to. We support one another through the good times and the occasionally tougher days. There is always a sympathetic ear available. Our trust values were developed by all of us and we really do respect individuality, try our best to do the right thing and work together.
