Hours 25 hours per week working 12:00pm – 5:00pm Monday to Friday, term time including 5 INSET days

Actual Salary E5 £13,278.61 - £15,252.78 approx. per annum plus an excellent benefits package.

Do you have knowledge and experience of supporting children who have experienced trauma, difficulties with attachment and poor emotional literacy? If so, this is an opportunity to join a strong and dedicated school team who are committed to providing high quality experiences for all the children at Mead Vale Primary School.

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, proactive, hard-working and experienced Learning Mentor who is committed to pastoral work improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND and their families. This fixed term contract commences in October 2022 until 31 August 2023.

Do you have a high level of self-awareness and an ability to deal with issues sensitively using your own initiative? Under the direct line management of the Headteacher, you will operate within a very successful pastoral team working with both individual and small groups of children to support their social and emotional development. You will receive deescalation training and learn new strategies.
